JOB TITLE:

Recruitment Officer, Job Reference #202506-03C

 

DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Manager of Admissions & Recruitment, the Recruitment Officer will implement the national and international programs by:

  • Conducting presentations (both in-person or virtual) for prospective applicants, their parents, school officials, fielding questions of a comprehensive and sometimes sensitive nature.
  • Contacting high school officials and organizes school visits and travel schedules.
  • Assisting in implementation of the on-campus events such as open houses, customized school visit programs, phone campaign, texting campaign, conducting tours and meeting visitors.
  • Providing information to prospective applicants, counsellors, parents and others about academic and non-academic concerns related to the Student experience at King’s.
  • Building rapport as well as interacting with a range of ages, personalities, cultures and academic backgrounds since the primary responsibility of the position involves communicating with a range of audiences including students, parents, guidance counsellors, principals and other educational colleagues.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred):

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (preferably from King’s University)
  • 1-2 years of previous work experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario secondary and post-secondary system would be an asset.
  • Have a good academic record and outstanding interpersonal skills would be an asset.
  • Have strong communication, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience delivering presentations, ideally to student groups would be an asset.
  • A valid G driver’s licence; the ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally is required.
  • Some weekend and evening work is involved.

 

TYPE OF JOB:

Contract Full Time – 35 hours per week

 

EFFECTIVE DATE:

August 18, 2025 to November 28, 2025

 

SALARY RANGE:

PSG 10 - $58,487 - $73,231 per annum, dependent on experience.
